12/30/21 - George did an amazing job with installing additional ethernet ports through our home. When ATT originally did our fiber installation, they told me that they couldn't setup a port in a part of our home because of how our insulation was layed out, but that wasn't an issue for George at all. He was able to get it installed within an hour or two and then helped triple-check that everything was showing the proper speeds. 8/31/21 - Very pleased with George's service! He was very responsive and friendly, and he did a really good job mounting our Samsung Frame TV. The TV came with it's own complicated wall mount, and he was able to get it figured out and mounted in about an hour. He was meticulous with his work and very courteous while inside my home. 5/19/2021 - I tried the DIY route and encountered issues. Unfortunately, I put one too many holes in the ceiling for the Mrs. and had to call in a professional. 3/12/2021 -George did a fantastic job converting our phone jacks to ethernet, running low power cables through the wall, running ethernet to the exterior of the house for cameras, and even pulling an outdoor mess of wires into a much cleaner box inside the house. We added a guest apartment, home office and some smart TVs to our property. In anticipation of the higher web traffic, we upgraded to Grande's 1 Gig fiber service (which rocks, by the way). But we still needed to extend the local network, which is where George came in. He extended a hardwire connection from the front house to the back house via an existing underground conduit. He installed switches and Wireless repeaters in both houses. The system has been incredibly robust and trouble free. When Austin Energy's power goes out, George is often the first to know, as he must get an alert when our network goes down. At some point, guests started to have difficulty accessing and using the WiFi. George was able to trouble shoot and repair the problem remotely. Since the root cause of that hiccup was outside of our network, we really have not had a network problem in 16 months. That's the kind of performance that's worth paying top dollar for. Being able to call George if and when problems arise has also been a great investment. We've dealt with a lot of contractors over the past few years and Simple Clarity is in the top 5%. 7/9/17 - George was excellent in every way. We wanted to come into this century with wifi operated receivers. George came by and advised me on our needs without any upselling, advising that speakers don't normally die. He gave several options based on cost and versatility for our different zones. At no point during installation was George unsure of himself and has been fantastic at support after the transaction. We have a new house that we had prewired during construction for 5.1 surround upstairs and downstairs. He met me on the jobsite before the drywall went up and we talked about what I wanted to have done. He took measurements and started sending me information. Since then George has been working with us to put together packages to do all the speakers, receivers, tv mounts, and volume controls. Basically all our Audio Video needs. Since we just moved into the house we have a lot of expenses all competing for attention. George is working with us to plan smaller projects that fit within our budget while continuing to add to our home AV system. So far he has installed my existing ORB 5.1 speakers in the upstairs "geek bunker." They were my existing speakers but he did a fantastic job getting mounts for the speakers, hiding the wires behind the mounts, installing the panel for the wires to terminate, and hooking them up to my receiver. I couldn't be happier about the work that was done. Best of all it sounds great. Recently he found a great deal on a set of speakers we could have used for our outside speaker zone and he sent it over to me to see if I was interested. I wasn't able to buy them but I really appreciate that George knows what we want and keeps his eye out for good deals to pass along. 3/30/2022 - George at Simple Clarity is everything you'd want in a Home Automation and AV professional. He is prompt with his responses, punctual to his appointments, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable in his craft. On his first visit to our home, he spent an hour listening patiently to our inquiry, walked us through his suggested solutions and gave us a ballpark estimate that allowed us to have a clear understanding of the costs so we could budget appropriately. During the completion of the job, he ran into several issues with the layout of our home and yet he was undeterred. A simple project turned into a much more complex job and yet he approached the issue with a singular mindset of someone who clearly has a passion for superior service. He got the job DONE. As our particular job required some additional drywall repairs that weren't initially anticipated, he coordinated a drywall repair that left our office looking precisely as it did before the very next day. 1/14/2021 - We needed 4 rooms wired for Ethernet. George responded quickly to our request and generated a quote for us at a fair price. 11/21/2020 - George does amazing work. I had him install 4 new ethernet ports (2 of which were pretty hard to run a cable through due to the location in the house/attic), and mount a large TV and soundbar, along with some in-wall cable/power management. He was meticulous and thoughtful every step of the way. From vacuuming up any dust/debris left behind, to clever cable wrapping so that we could extend the TV out while still hiding the cables, and everything in between. He even had some good suggestions for how to improve and streamline my setup a bit, some of which included a slight additional cost, but I never once felt pressured into any of the decisions. 1/27/2020 - After Googling for someone to mount our 70" tv in our living room, we found Simple Clarity Electronics, located here in Pflugerville. George came to our home and gave us a quote. He also recommended a competent electrician to install a plug behind where our tv would be, so we wouldn't have any ugly electric ccords dangling. His quote was quite reasonable and included the wall mount, so we didn't have go out and figure what wall mount to buy. He and his wife mounted our tv with precision and great attention to detail. Dealing with people that do not finish the job or realize that "bugs or glitches" happen after they leave can be an even bigger pain. I have done three different AV home makeovers in 10 years. George (people call the company by the first name because he really is the owner) is the best. Let me count the ways: 1) Service - Our job was big and George was always willing to come back our and check on the system. His follow up and attention to detail was the best I have ever seen. 2) Knowledge and Honesty - no one knows everything and George will tell you if he does not know how to do something. Even when he did not know, he was willing to figure it out and never let us down. His opinions and thoughts on how to do simple things to complex (we were in the middle of a full house remodel and George knew exactly where everything should go) are perfect. 3) Trust - You can leave him alone in your house and he makes sure the job is done right. We have recommended him twice and he has done outstanding work for them too. 4) Hard working - I cannot tell you how many times he was working after hours on our house.
